Up until two years ago, I used to live in
a dormitory..

It was the place where I took a rest, and
it was very different from where I live now.

Back then, I lived a small studio. It
didn’t have many windows, so I always left the lights on.

There was no balcony, so I had to leave
the building to got fresh air / if it gets stuffy.

On the plus side, my studio was
conveniently located near many good restaurants and café.

Also living in the city made it easier to have a social life.

In contrast, I live in a large,
four-bedroom apartment in a quiet neighborhood.

Every room has wood floors and large
windows that let in lots of sunlight.

There is a park nearby, and My family and
I go jogging on the weekends.

We usually get a happy time in my home.

A big problem I had in my apartment was
that the toilet was clogged.

The water almost reached the top of the toilet bowl, so I was worried
the water would spill onto the floor.

It was the middle of the night. I did my
best not to panic and tried to get a hold of the situation.

I couldn’t call a plumber because it was
so late. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any tools!

So I did the only thing I could, which
was searching the Internet.

Luckily, there were a lot of simple
solutions. The easiest one was to pour dish
soap and then a bucket of hot water into the toilet. It worked
immediately!

I realized from that experience that I
could do things on my own. By doing this, I felt more independent and knew
that I would be able to handle any problems in the future.

I live in a neighborhood located in the
south part of Seoul.

It’s a residential neighborhood with some
restaurants, grocery stores, and shops.

There are two main roads that form an
intersection at the center of my neighborhood.

That’s where you’ll find most of the
businesses. There’s also a subway station at the intersection,

which makes it really convenient to get
around. Once you get off the main streets, there are a lot of side
roads with apartment buildings. I live in one of these buildings on the 6^th
floor.

In fact, my apartment building is
probably the tallest building in the area.

I’m mostly satisfied with my
neighborhood. When you consider that it’s located in a major city,

it’s a surprisingly quite area. However,
at times, living there can be a little boring.

I guess having more shops and bars would
be a great improvement in my neighborhood.

I’d like to tell you about my favorite
neighbor who lives in my apartment building.

His name is Daniel, and he lives directly
across the hall from me.

I’ve known him since I moved to my
apartment, so I guess it’s been about 3 years now.

Anyway, Daniel and I are the same age. We
turned 35 this year.

As for his physical appearance, he’s
pretty tall and fit. I would say he’s about 180 centimeters tall.

He has short black hair, wear glasses and
likes to wear jeans and sneakers.

He often hears from people that he has an
eye for fashion!

You know what? I first met him at the
park near my apartment building.

Although he was with other neighbors, he
saw that I was alone and talked to me first.

We’ve been really best friends ever
since.

So now, sometimes we like to hang out on
weekends. Usually this means grabbing a beer!

So, I would say I’m really lucky to have
such a good neighbor like Daniel.

I think I’ve had a few memorable
experiences in my neighborhood, and there’s one that I’ll never forget!  /  It
actually happened about 30 years ago.

So when I was a kid, I lived in a small
neighborhood near a large lake park.

One day, I went to the park by myself
although my parents always told me not to go there alone, but one day I went
by myself anyway. On my way to the park, I got lost. As you can imagine, I
got scared and started to cry. My parents went out to track me down. A couple
of neighbors joined in. Finally, just after the sun had set, I heard my dad
yelling myname, and I ran to him as fast as I could

These days, I’m often reminded of the
incident when I visit the park. It was a bad experience at the time, but it’s
amusing when I look back on it now.

It’s pretty good question because
watching movies is something I really like to do when I have free time.
Honestly, I enjoy watching many different genres of movies, including
romances, comedis, thrillers, and actions.

Speaking of movie genres, I’d have to say
the kind of movie I enjoy most is science fictions.

The thing about sci-fi movies that
attracts me is that they are so exciting. They focus on ideas that are really
out there, such as time travel.

Oh! Let me tell you some of my favorite
sci-fi movies! I’ve watched tons of sci-fi films,but some of my favorite ones
are Back to the Future, Interstellar, and Inception! I would definitely
recommend these movies to those who like movies about space and time travel.

One more thing! The advanced special
effects in these movies are awesome!

All in all, I love many different types
of movies, but I would say sci-fi movies are the most entertaining to watch! They always cheer
me up, especially when I’m feeling depressed or overworked.

I’m such a movie bug, So I’ve seen lots
of movies in my life. So there are so many great movies I can think of right
now.

If I had to pick one, Inception would be
one of my favorite films of all time.

I watched it for a long time ago. As far
as I remember, the firlm was released in 2010, and it stars many great actors
like Leonardo DiCaprio and Ellen Page. Basically, the film is about dreams;
more specifically, it’s about stealing dreams and dreaming within a dream.
Sounds super crazy, right?

So, this film was unforgettable for me
because I had never thought about dreams like that before.

I remember being very shocked at the end
of the movie. But I can’t tell you the ending scene because that would spoil
the movie for you.

Anyway, I watch inception again and again,
at least once a year, and keep finding something new and interesting. So, I
would highly recommend this movie if you haven’t watched it yet.

I’m such a movie bug, So I’ve seen lots
of movies in my life. So I know a lot of actors around the world. There are
so many American actors that I admire, including Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt,
Leonardo DiCaprio and 제이슨스타뎀.

Of all these great actors, I’d have to
say that my overall favorite is LD. He is one of the most famous actors and
has been in lots of great movies. ‘What I like the most about him’ is his
talent as an excellent acting
skills. One more thing! He is really handsome and attractive, and I love his
charming smile!

Let me tell you about his movies a little
bit! He starred in a number of movies such as Titanic and Romeo and Juliet
and sci-fi movie like Inception. I think he is known for his role in Titanic,
but I have to say Inception is my favorite. I would definitely recommend it.

So, all in all, I can say LD is one of
the greatest actors of all time.

Watching his movies always cheers me up.

Living in Seoul, I feel lucky to have the Hangang Park nearby. It
runs along the Han River, which divides Seoul into north and south.
Fortunately for me, it is located within walking distance of my home. I go
there at least once a week with my family.

The Hangang Park has some great facilities. There are biking
trails throughout the park, and several places have bikes for rent. If you
don’t like biking, there are lots of other activities to do, such as playing
badminton. My family and I usually jog in the park. By doing that, I can
relieve stress.

The gardens are my favorite part of the park. Every spring, the
flowers begin to blossom and give off an incredible scent. Even though you’re
right in the middle of a huge city, it feels like you’re out in the country.
In my opinion, this is an excellent place to have a picnic, or just go for
stroll.

Especially, my son is just 3 years old and he is very
very energetic! In the park, there are so many play areas for kids.

The main activity I do at the park is just taking a rest. I
usually play with my smart phone. I can watch my favorite dramas and movies
on my smartphone. However, if my family can't go to the park with me, I
usually go to the park with my friend Daniel. Daniel and I are the same age.
We turned 35 this year. We usually grabbing a beer there.

Anyway, I love my activities at the park. Because I can kill the
stress. I’d much rather be out in nature than stuck inside a home. I’m
planning to go again this weekend!

There is a nice park about a 10-minute walk from my house. It’s
medium-sized, and there are lots of things to do. There is a walking trail,
and there are all kinds of areas to play sports. The park has something for
everybody! Kids and adults both seem to love it.

The young children who visit the park love playing games like tag.
They are always shouting, laughing, and running around. And the others play something
like soccer and basketball.

Unlike the kids, adults like me don’t play so many sports at the
park, but we definitely 삳 walks there. I like to go
walking there with my family or friend after dinner. Picnics are also a
common activity for adults at the park.

The way I see it, the main problem is overcrowding. When I was
young, the large park near my home was always almost empty. Today, visiting
the park is like visiting a crowded subway station.

As there are more people, people throw away cigarette butts and
other trash without permission.

These negatively affect children physically and mentally.

To solve the problem, I think it is effective to put up notices
and warnings.

Anyway, I hope my family and I can enjoy the park freely.

One example of an experience that sticks out is the day my family
and I were at the beach. I was in elementary school at the time.

I learned how to swim at a young age, so my parents allowed me to
go into the ocean. They told me to stay in the shallow water. They didn’t
seem worried because there were other people in the water. However, I didn’t
notice that I was drifting away from the shore. Then, out of nowhere, my foot
cramped up. I couldn’t swim properly because of the pain. What made it worse
was that even though I was shouting for help, no one heard me. There were
other people shouting and having fun. My head began to go under the water. Fortunately, my
dad noticed and hauled me back to shore.

The incident was unforgettable because I almost drowned. After
that, My mother hasn't let me swim alone for a while.

It’s a good question because I love going to the beaches during
the summer. I personally prefer to go to the islands because there are tons
of beautiful beaches on the islands. One of my favorite beaches is located in
Jeju island, Korea. And the name of the beach is Hyeopjae beach.

So, it is actually one of the most famous beaches in Jeju island.
It’s located on the west side of the island which is about 30 minutes away
from jeju airport.

It has beautiful white sand and It also has such clear blue water
where you can swim and snorkel.

Oh! And you know
what? You can find a nice camping spot near the beach and enjoy overnight
camping!

I really like to stay there all evening because this beach has the
most wonderful sunset.

All in all, from sunset to sunrise, beach camping is always a
spectacular experience!

And I can say Hyeopjae beach in Jeju island is definitely my
favorite place to camp! So, going to the beach for camping is a great way to
relieve my stress.

I really like to go camping because I enjoy nature. I try to go at
least a couple of times a year. I wish I could go more often, but it is hard
to find the time.

There are so many nice places to camp in Korea, but I love to camp
at the beach. And I know a few beautiful beaches where I like to go with my
family. I guess my family is a big fan of summer camping!

On camping trips, I like to take walks along the beach and just
chill during the day. I also love to swim in the ocean, enjoy the waves and
take lots of pictures and videos. And what else… oh!

I really like watching the sunset from the tent, listening to
music! When it gets dark, it’s so enjoyable to build a campfire and tell our
stories around it. And of course, we also have a barbecue!

So, I would say I feel very happy when I’m camping. There’s
nothing like / falling asleep / to the sound of waves crashing / on the
beach. So beach camping is one of my favorite things to do every summer, and
I would highly recommend it!

The last time I went camping was when I was on vacation in
Hyeopjae beach last summer.

There was a long weekend because of a national holiday, so my
family and I went on a trip to there.

On the second day of our trip, we went to a beautiful restaurant
near the beach.

Actually, I don’t remember the name of the restaurant right now; but
I heard it’s one of the most famous restaurant around there. The orange juice
there was amazing! That was great!

Anyway, It also was nice campground.

So we spent two nights there and did tons of fun activities at the
beach!

We set up our tent and table at the campsite in the morning.

We were planning a really nice barbecue dinner, so we had a lot of
gear to set up.

So during the day, we swam a lot and then relaxed, soaking
up some sun.

Back at our campsite, we played lots of different games and cooked
steak on a camping stove.

One more thing! We watched the beautiful sunset while
having the barbecue!

It was a memorable sunset! You can’t imagine!

So, overall, it was such a special holiday with my family.

And we all had an amazing time on the trip!

I feel like I still remember the sound of waves crashing on the
beach!

I usually go camping to the beach with my family, so let me tell
you about what we pack / for our beach trip.

I guess we just bring along the bare essentials, but I can’t say
we pack light.

First, I take my cellphone. Listening to music while waling along
the beachside helps me be mor active.

Oh, and a water bottle is a must when I go to a beach or camping.
I drink water whenever I am thirsty.

Last but not least, I take things to eat like chocolate and
snacks. When I go to a beach, I wear a beach wear and a windbreaker.

Oh! The last one is sunscreen and sunglasses. It is necessary to
protect my skin and eyes from strong sunlight.  So these are also necessary.

I think it's best not to taking too much equipment when going
camping.

In korea, there are so many convenience store around.

So I don't think we need to pack too many things, because we can
buy the things we need there.
