I acted as International students’ guider in my university from 2007, September to 2008, August for about 1 year.
The major roles was assisting one students linked me such as helping to study Korean, to adapt to Korean cultures.
In order to plant Korea’s good images into ‘Takashi Shinobu’ who was my first foreign student, I was kind and smile for him to make a good image on Korea.
I used to treat him politely without persuading into Korea culture rather than I think he is a little bit weird because he has a different thought based on his country.
These activities are very valuable opportunities for me to learn to understand foreigners and foreign culture.

When I was a university student from 2007 to 2008, I had been a guide for international students.
As a guide, I helped students assigned to learn Korean language and culture.
Takashi Shinobu was my first foreign student I guided. As I wanted to put a good image on Korea into him, I was always kind of him and kept smiling at him.
Even though he had a different view on my country, I used to treat him politely. It made him understand my country's culture naturally.(죄송해요 네번째 문단은 무슨 말씀을 하고싶은건지 모르겠습니다..)
Those experiences were very valuable to me. I could learn how to understand foreigners and their culutures. | ||

I did not force him to have the image on Korea unilaterally, but helped him learn my country's culture bilaterally. | ||
