형용사절의 형태는?

-> "형용사절 접속사 + (주어) + 동사 ~"

     (=관계대명사)

  He is a film director who is famous for his use of special effects.

                    * be famous for 명사 : 명사로 유명하다

- 두 문장 : I have a dog. It is cute.

 1. 형용사절이 오는 자리

  -> 명사 뒤! (명사 + 관계대명사 + 문장)

  - The man who gave the speech is my boss.

  - I found some errors in the report which he wrote.

  - Ashley showed me the letter that she received.

 2. 관계대명사 자리에 올 수 없는 것

  - Patients (they, who) want to see a doctor should wait.

  + The machines (those, that) we purchased last week are functioning properly.

 [목적격] (his, whom)

 [소유격] 소유격 + 명사 / whose + 명사

  - I konw a man whose father is a 국회의원. (whose 해석방법-이 남자가 가진/이 남자가 소유하는/ 이 남자의)

  - Alexandro is a designer whose collection I love. (whose 해석방법-이 디자이너가 소유하는/이 디자이너의)

     알렉산드로는  내가 사랑하는 콜렉션을 가진 디자이너 입니다.

   ** whose + 명사  하나의 주어, 하나의 목적어가 된다.
