Suppose you are The Minister of Culture and Education, or another way of saying, the minister of Mind Control.
And you are given the mandate by the parents of the nation to come up with a Recommended Reading List for high school seniors.
What would you recommend? Whether fiction, non-fiction, or essays, poetry, prose, tech or non-tech ...
We may begin with the question: what WERE the readings you were give in your high school years if you remember that is?
[What about recommendations for adult readers? How would that look?]

This is as usual, a thought experiment. An exercise of free thinking, of brainstorming. No Inquisitorial Agent from the Ministry shall descend on you, promise. No worries.
